With that in mind, this post isn't about this nice 2-bedroom property in The Arlington. This is about some of what I enjoy about Arlington. I'd like to point out a couple of reasons of Arlington life that residents here like:
Shirlington---which is close to The Arlington--- is a little gem. It has a unique sidewalk cafe atmosphere and is home to PBS.
Arlington is pet-friendly and has a number of dog-parks including Benjamin Banneker Park, Shirlington Park, Fort Ethan Park, Glen Carlyn Park and more.
Arlington has a great plan. City planners have located high-rises in close proximity to metro stations and shops and restaurants to create a metropolitan walkable stretch from Ballston to Rosslyn. At the same time, Arlington has preserved quiet residential neighborhoods to get a great urban mix.
Bowen McCauley Dance is a contemporary dance company and school based in Arlington. It's one of the many touches of culture that I love about Arlington VA.
