Fall Carnival and Farm Harvest Days at Frying Pan Park is going to be held this weekend from 18 to 20 October. The event is scheduled for 5-9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Farm Harvest Days are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on October 19-20. Admission and parking are free. Route 29 in Virginia has been given a go-ahead regarding a widening project of a part of it which will help pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers in the Clifton area. The 1.5-mile project between the Fairfax County Parkway and Union Mill Road will widen the highway from four lanes to six lanes in an area that the Virginia Department of Transportation projects will serve 10,000 additional vehicles a day by 2043.
