But my article isn't about this garden-style condo at 7372 Lee Hwy #102. I'm writing about some of what I like about Falls Church. Why? Here's a few reasons:
The State Theater opened in 1936 and operated as a popular movie house until the late 1980s. A multi-million dollar restoration in the late 1990s turned it into a venue for live music and private events.
Falls Church is close to numerous historic sites including Cherry Hill Farm, which was part of a pre-Revolutionary War plantation located at the crossroads of a trail from Winchester to Alexandria and another trail to the Little Falls on the Potomac River.
Did you know that Falls Church has a center for the arts called ArtSpace. Artspace has a 95-seat theater and an art gallery. Creative Cauldron is the nonprofit arts organization that manages and operates ArtSpace. Creative Cauldron's mission is to make the arts affordable and accessible to everyone, offering year-round educational programs in the arts as well as professional performances of live theater, music and dance for adults and for children.
Fairfax County has some of the best public schools in the national capital region, and in the country. Both Timber Lane Elementary School and serve students in Falls Church.
Will is the principal broker of Nesbitt Realty and Condo Alexandria. He is licensed in anywhere in the Commonwealth of Virginia, but focuses on those communities found in and around Alexandria, Arlington, Mount Vernon and Springfield/Franconia.
