The Alexandria waterfront on the Potomac River is a pleasant place to walk or just sit and watch the river drift by.
Alexandria residents have great access to Reagan National Airport. Alexandria is also reasonably close to both Dulles International and Baltimore Washington International Airport.
Alexandria has a great mix of metropolitan and suburban, high-rises and single-family, townhouses and condos.
The George Washington Masonic Memorial is a tribute to George Washington the man and the Mason. The edifice appears as a lighthouse, mimicking the architecture of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Inside a visitor will find many interesting rooms and artifacts.
