During the lease term in Northern Virginia

During tenancy, the rental home belongs to the tenant we respect the tenant 's privacy. As the property manager Nesbitt Realty has the right to reasonable entry of the rental home, but we will never abuse that right. If Nesbitt Realty has a good reason to go into a rental home in Northern Virginia, the renter must allow us to come into the rental. Some good reasons to enter rental are to:

  • Inspect the rental,
  • Perform maintenance or decorate,
  • Supply required services, or
  • Show the rental property to prospective or actual purchasers, mortgagees, workmen, or contractors.

Nesbitt Realty will always strive to give the tenant notice and obtain renter consent prior to coming into the rental property. However, Nesbitt Realty can and will come into the rental home without renter consent in emergency situations. We will never abuse the right of entrance or use it to agitate tenants in Northern Virginia. Nesbitt Realty will only access the home at reasonable hours of the day, except in an emergency.
