Eisenhower and Van Dorn Street Metro Stations In Alexandria To Close.

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority will close the Eisenhower and Van Dorn Street Metro stations as the City tries to contain the potential spread of coronavirus. The closure of the two stations is a part of 17 stations that have closed statewide. The metro system has been experiencing a decline in passengers and it has becoming increasingly difficult to keep surfaces clean and sanitized. Residents are advised to only use the Metro services if and when necessary.
