King Street Gardens Park is located at 1806 King Street in Old Town Alexandria. The small park is located at the foot of the George Washington National Masonic Memorial and is near to the King Street Metro.
The park features the signature piece of a large metal sculpture with hanging gardens. The design of the sculpture is intended to portray a ship's prow, a plow and a tri-cornered hat. The sunken gardens and the plants are intended to reference the Victoria era gardens that existed in Old Town and represents the street grid originally laid out by George Washington. The park is a popular place for residents to hang out and enjoy socialization with their friends and family.
