Christ House, a project of the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington has won the HomeAid Northern Virginia Non Profit Service Provider Project of the award. The facility, which is located at 131 West Street in Old Town Alexandria operates a food pantry, emergency financial assistance, a thrift store and transitional housing for 14 homeless men in Old Town. The facility also hold a kitchen, dining room, lobby, resident rooms, bathroom, staff office, meeting rooms and a chapel. These areas of the facility were recently renovated in a partnership with HomeAid Northern Virginia.
