Why Goat Hill Park In Alexandria?

Goat Hill Park is a 2.5 acres park which is located at 33 Kennedy Street in Alexandria. The small park was dedicated to the City of Alexandria in 1953 and has since been adopted by the Warwick Village Citizens' Association. The park which is located within the Warwick Village residential neighborhood features three different areas: a playground with standard equipment and rubberized surface which is perfect for the kids from ages 5-10 to enjoy, a natural wooded area and an open lawn that is used for relaxation and blanket picnics. A hill is located behind and above the playground extends into the wooded area. The hill is also a favorite place for kids to use for sledding during the winter.
