The neighborhood of Old Town Alexandria will come alive with the hosting of the 42nd Annual Alexandria Jazz Festival to be held at the Waterfront Park, 1A Prince Street Alexandria. The event will be held on May 27, 2019 from 1 pm - 6 pm and will feature a variety of musicians offering diverse styles of jazz. The festival will feature performances from the U.S. Army Blues, VERONNEAU, Dave Kline Bank with headliner Good Shot Judy.
The event is free to the public and patrons are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. The festival will be relocated to the Lee Center Kauffman Auditorium in the event of inclement weather.
