West Potomac High School (WPHS), a Fairfax County public school, that needs to raise $50,000 by Feb 15, 2014 to meet their target date of getting the new turf fields installed by September 2014. The goal of getting two artificial turf fields (one stadium and one practice) with lights, will cost between $1.3-1.5 million. Students at WPHS participating in the following extracurricular activities, will benefit from the new turf fields: band, cheerleading, dance, field hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, track, and field.
