When you're going to buy a dwelling, does it pay to abide the Golden Rule?
Part of what I think is important in business is that you expect and give respect. Reciprocating respect is one way to practice the Golden Rule. But how does that apply to purchasing real estate in Fairfax County? It doesn't mean that you're expected to pay more than a pied-a-terre like 7836 Vervain Ct is worth. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't quibble over important details. But it does mean that:
We never want to argue or yell. If there is no possibility for agreement, it's time to move on—without hurt feelings. We're not interested in wasting the seller's time or the listing agent's time.
