The George Washington Whiskey Festival will be held on November 9th at the Mount Vernon Estate 3600 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway in Alexandria. The event will feature some of the finest spirits from Virginia craft distillers and other famous whiskey producers. The festival will also celebrate the debut of a new batch of George Washington straight Rye Whiskey, which was distilled at George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate distillery using the original recipe by George Washington and aged in charred oak barrels for four years. Patrons at the festival will also learn about the history of the distilled products, watch coopering demonstrations, live music, entertainment and more. This is a must attend event for all whiskey lovers.
