Have Authentic Indian Food At Balaji Cafe

Balaji Cafe is a basic, counter-serve Indian outfit focusing on vegetarian dishes along with organic and vegan options. It is located at 298 Sunset Park Dr, Herndon, VA. Their specialties include dosas, chickpeas, Hakka noodles, and gobi Manchurian. Balaji Cafe offers authentic vegetarian food from the South and North of India. They also specialize in popular and favorite Indian street food. For Organic and Vegan customers they have a special menu which includes Dosa, Uttapam, salads, sandwiches, etc. When I visited this restaurant earlier this year, I ordered the Dosa Masala which was like a paper-thin crepe with a dose of mashed chickpeas inside. I have to say it was one of the best I'd ever tasted. I also ordered the vegetable biryani, and the combination of spices just really hit the spot. I was surprised when I found a plum seed in my rice. I asked why I had a seed in my rice, and they said it was used for seasoning. This food was very tasty.
