The City of Alexandria is set to benefit from the opening of a new Children's Theatre the Logan Loft at Burgundy Farm Country Day School.
Founder of the new Alexandria Children's Theatre Roberta Cullen has been teaching children;s acting and movement classes in Alexandria for 14 years. Cullen stated that the location at Burgundy was the perfect spot for the theatre as the facility is already suited for kids. Kids involved in the program will be placed in age groups and they will do performances based on kids stories as well as stories written by Cullen.
The main goal of the Alexandria Children's Theatre is to become a performance location for kids of all ages residing in the area. Summer classes and main stage performances will also be performed throughout the school year.
