Franklin Farm is a residential community located in Herndon, Virginia. The neighborhood is bordered to the south by Route 50, to the north by the Dulles Toll Road, to the east by Ox Road and to the west by Dulles International Airport. Pohick Regional Park Gets A Gift Of Additional 32 Acres

NOVA Parks and Fairfax County officials and staff honored in a celebration for the gift of an additional 32 acres to the Pohick Regional Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Lorton park on June 11. The land was donated by Lorton-based Colchester Land Company. This donation significantly extends the park’s more than 400 acres, adding wetlands, woods, and a half-mile of Occoquan river shoreline to the Park’s holdings, primarily for conservation. Pop-Up Drive-In Theater Introduced At Tysons

Fairfax County has a few and far away drive-in theaters, but those still operating have gained new popularity amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Tysons, Virginia, has also just got one though it’s just a pop-up. Big mixed-use development The Boro is hosting weekend summer drive-in movies at Tysons. Enjoy Summer At Greater Reston Arts Center’s Digital Summer Arts Camp 2020

The Greater Reston Arts Center is offering its first digital summer art camp. The program is geared toward children between the ages of 5 and 10. It includes guidance on how to make art through pre-recorded, instructional videos. The online program mirrors what is offered at the in-person program which was previously organized with Reston Association and will run for six weeks between June 29 and August 7. Continue reading
