The Walter Reed Senior Center is a great place for the 55+ crowd to find activities and events to keep them busy. The center's hours are Monday - Friday 8:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Some activities and events will be scheduled for weekend and night hours. They will be listed as they are scheduled. The Walter Reed Community Center and Senior Center was constructed and designed as a ‘Green’ building meeting the LEED silver standard. It features an 18,000 green roof for storm water management, while natural light is widely used in many rooms. Other materials used in the construction of the building include wheat board, cork, bamboo and other recycled/sustainable products.
