The Gatorade Company has honored Jamie Wang of National Cathedral School by announcing her as its 2018-19 Gatorade District of Columbia Softball Player of the Year. The Gatorade Company has been honoring the nation’s best high school athletes for 34 years. Wang lives in McLean and she is the first athlete to be chosen as Gatorade District of Columbia Softball Player of the Year from National Cathedral School. The aim of the award is to recognize outstanding athletic excellence, as well as, high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field. Continue reading
