Below you will see a accounting of each subdivision (or condo) with listings in Skywood. The list below is compiled from active listings today. The list below is refreshed every few minutes to make sure that we're providing accurate data that you may rely on. The tallies compiled below is pulled directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few quirks to keep in mind.
You may spot a subdivision listed multiple times.
Firstly that the names of subdivisions (or condos) found below were all put into the MLS database by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there will be spelling errors. Of course sometimes, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it seem like a property has moved from one subdivision to another when really the error was corrected.
Not to mention, there may be some variances as to what exactly a specific neighborhood is called. If there is just one character of difference between two entries this will be counted as different communities. Hence, when you really need to get a tally, you should consider all possible variations of the subdivision's name. Case in point, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are at times entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a sign up but the subdivision isn't listed below."
Is there a different way to spell this specific subdivision?
Of course, for the reason stated above, try to you double-check all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the property for lease?
This list does not include rentals. Therefore, it's possible that the sign you saw posted was for a rental property. Also, this list
only covers listings still for sale in Skywood.
Is the listing not yet active?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are quite a few properties that have a sign up that are not
active.
Case in point, sometimes a sign is up because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents can access to information about listings that are in coming-soon status. Furthermore, the MLS database does not permit us to list those listings in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a specific neighborhood, you'll have to talk to us directly.
Is the listing sold?
And, from time to time that a listing is already sold or
under contract when you see the sign up. Under-contract signs don't go up immediately. And, it happens that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, it's possible to see a sign up when a property is not available.
