You might find a subdivision listed more than once.
Firstly that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) compiled below were all entered into the MLS database by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there can be typographical errors. Later, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a property has been listed when actually the error was corrected.
Also, there may be some dispute as to what exactly a particular community is named. If there is just one character of difference between two entries this will be listed separately. Hence, if you really need to get a count, you have to consider all the variations of the community's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are by some people entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

Naturally, for the reason stated above, make sure you watch out for all typical variations of the name.
Is the listing for rent?
This tally does not cover rental properties. Hence, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental property. In addition, this tally
only includes listings on the market in Mount Crawford.
Is the listing not yet active?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are many properties which have a sign up that are not
active.
For instance, from time to time a sign is up because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not

under contract when you spot the for sale up. Under-contract notices aren't posted immediately. In addition, it happens that the listing agent is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. For these reasons, you might see a sign up when a listing is not available.
