Below you will see a accounting of each and every subdivision (or condo) with listings in Second Antietam. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. The list below is recalculated often to ensure that we're supplying accurate information which you can count on. The information found below is pulled directly from the MLS database, so there are a few tips to keep in mind.
You may spot a subdivision listed more than once.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) compiled below were all put into the MLS database by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there will be typographical errors. Of course sometimes, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it seem like a listing has sold when in reality the error was corrected.
Furthermore, there may be some diffence of opinion as to what exactly a particular subdivision is named. If there is even one character of difference between two entries this will be listed as different communities. So, when you really want to get a count, you have to look at all possible variations of the subdivision's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are at times called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a for sale sign up but the subdivision isn't found below."
Is there another way to spell this particular neighborhood?
Of course, for the reason stated above, try to you look for all possible variations of the name.
Is the property for lease?
This list does not include rental properties. Hence, it may be that the sign you saw was for a rental property. Not to mention, this tally
only covers listings on the market in Second Antietam.
Is the property under-contract?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are quite a few listings which have a sign up that are not
active.
For example, sometimes a sign is posted because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is in coming-soon status is not
yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents have access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. In addition, the MLS database does not permit us to count those properties in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a specific subdivision, you'll have to contact us directly.
Is the property sold?
In addition, sometimes that a listing is already sold when you spot the for sale up. Sold or under-contract signs don't go up immediately. In addition, from time to time that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. For these reasons, you may see a sign posted when a listing is not active.
