Listed below you will find a accounting of every subdivision (or condo) with listings in Tysons Green. This list is compiled from active listings today. The list below is recalculated often to ensure that we're supplying timely tallies which you can count on. The data collected below is taken directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few quirks to be aware of.
You might find a subdivision listed multiple times.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) listed below were all entered into the Multiple Listing Service by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there will be spelling errors. Later, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it seem like a property has moved from one subdivision to another when really the spelling on a listing was changed.
Not to mention, there may be some disagreement as to what exactly a specific community is called. If there is even one character of difference between two entries this will be counted separately. Hence, when you really need to get a tally, you have to look at all the variations of the community's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Alexandria are by some people known as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a sign posted but the subdivision isn't found below."
Is there another way to spell this particular subdivision?
Of course, for the reason stated above, try to you double-check all possible variations of the name.
Is the property for lease?
This tally does not include rental properties. Therefore, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental. Also, this list
exclusively covers listings on the market in Tysons Green.
Is the property under-contract?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are many properties that have a sign posted that are not
active.
For example, sometimes a sign is posted because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents have access to information about properties that are coming-soon. Furthermore, the MLS database does not permit us to count those listings in our tally. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a specific community, you'll have to email Nesbitt Realty directly.
Is the listing under-contract?
In addition, from time to time that a listing is already sold when you see the sign posted. Sold or under-contract notices aren't posted immediately. And, sometimes that the listing agent is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract riders. For these reasons, you might see a sign up when a property is not active.

The arrows at the header below are useful for organizing the list. But, when you organize by number of active listings, just remember the tips above, because those tallies aren't completely accurate. Of course, the list is still useful.
