Below you will see a accounting of each and every subdivision (or condominium) with properties for sale in Fairfax Metro Square. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is recalculated often to make sure that we're providing accurate information that you can rely on. The information found below is pulled directly from the MLS database, so there are a couple of tips to keep in mind.
You might find a subdivision listed more than once.
Firstly that the names of subdivisions (or condominiums) found below were all typed into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there may be typographical errors. Later, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a property has been listed when in reality the spelling on a listing was changed.
In addition, there may be some variances as to what exactly a particular community is called. If there is even one character of difference between a couple of entries this will be counted separately. Thus, when you really want to get a tally, you have to look at all the variations of the subdivision's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are by some people known as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a for sale sign up but the subdivision isn't listed below."
Is there another name for this specific subdivision?
As a matter of course, for the reason stated above, try to you look for all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for lease?
This tally does not cover rental properties. So, it's possible that the sign you saw posted was for a rental. Not to mention, this list
exclusively includes listings still for sale in Fairfax Metro Square.
Is the listing coming soon?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are quite a few properties which have a sign up that are not
active.
For instance, from time to time a sign is posted because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is in coming-soon status is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents can access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. And, the Multiple Listing Service does not permit us to count those properties in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon real estate in a specific community, you'll have to email Nesbitt Realty directly.
Is the property sold?
In addition, sometimes that a listing is already sold or
under contract when you see the for sale posted. Under-contract notices aren't posted the moment a property settles. And, it happens that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, you may see a for sale sign up when a listing is not active.
Do you need timely notices about listings from a specific subdivision?
If you want to be notified when a property is available in a particular neighborhood, just let us know. Furthermore, Nesbitt Realty can also give you specific information on a particular listing when you reach out to Nesbitt Realty directly. Nesbitt Realty has a Realtor that can quickly find the information you want.
You can organize the communities by count or alphabetically.
The arrows at the header below are useful for arranging the list. Above all, when you arrange by number of active listings, just remember the points above, because the number isn't completely accurate. Of course, the data is still useful.
