Below you will see a accounting of each and every subdivision (or condo) with properties for sale in Potomac Estates. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is revised often to ensure that we're supplying fresh data that you can depend on. The information compiled below is taken directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few tips to keep in mind.
You may spot a subdivision listed multiple times.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condos) listed below were all put into the Multiple Listing Service by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there may be typographical errors. Of course sometimes, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has been listed when actually the listing was updated.
Not to mention, there may be some diffence of opinion as to what exactly a specific subdivision is called. If there is even one character of difference between two entries this will be counted as different communities. So, when you really need to get a count, you should look at all possible variations of the community's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Fairfax County are sometimes called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a sign posted but the community isn't found below."
Is there another name for this specific subdivision?
Of course, for the reason stated above, make sure you watch out for all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for rent?
This tally does not cover rental properties. So, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental. In addition, this tally
exclusively covers listings on the market in Potomac Estates.
Is the property in coming-soon status?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are many properties that have a sign up that are not
active.
For instance, sometimes a sign is up because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about listings that are coming-soon. Furthermore, the MLS database does not allow Nesbitt Realty to list those listings in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a particular community, you'll have to email us directly.
Is the property sold?
And, sometimes that a listing is already
under contract when you see the for sale up. Sold or under-contract signs don't go up the second a contract is signed. Furthermore, from time to time that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. For these reasons, you may see a sign posted when a property is not available.
Do you need regular notices about listings from a particular subdivision?
If you want to be contacted when real estate is available in a particular neighborhood, just let us know. Not to mention, your agent can also give you specific information on a specific listing when you contact us directly. We can recommend a real estate professional that can quickly find the information you need.
You can arrange the list by count or alphabetically.
The arrows at the header below are useful for arranging the subdivisions. Conversely, when you sort by listing count, just keep in mind the points above, because those tallies aren't always accurate. Still, the data is still pretty accurate.
