Are you seeking listings in a particular community?

Below you will see a accounting of each and every subdivision (or condominium) with properties for sale in Fort Belvoir. This list is compiled from active listings today. This list is recalculated every few minutes to make sure that we're providing accurate information which you can depend on. The tallies collected below is taken directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few quirks to keep in mind.

You might spot a subdivision listed multiple times.

Firstly that the names of subdivisions (or condominiums) listed below were all typed into the MLS database by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there may be spelling errors. Of course sometimes, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has moved from one subdivision to another when really the spelling on a listing was changed.

Not to mention, there may be some dispute as to what exactly a particular subdivision is called. If there is even one character of difference between two entries this will be counted separately. Thus, when you really need to get a tally, you should consider all possible variations of the community's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Fairfax County are at times called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

"I saw a sign up but the subdivision isn't listed below."

Is there a different name for this specific neighborhood?
Definitely, for the reason stated above, try to you look for all typical variations of the name.
Is the listing for rent?
This tally does not include rental properties. Hence, it's possible that the sign you saw posted was for a rental. Furthermore, this list exclusively includes listings still for sale in Fort Belvoir.
Is the property in coming-soon status?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are many listings which have a sign up that are not active. For example, sometimes a sign is posted because the property is coming soon. A listing that is in coming-soon status is not yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents can access to information about listings that are in coming-soon status. Not to mention, the Multiple Listing Service does not permit us to count those listings in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a specific neighborhood, you'll have to talk to us directly.
Is the listing under-contract?
In addition, from time to time that a listing is already under contract when you spot the for sale posted. Sold riders aren't posted the moment a property settles.
