Are you trying to find real estate in a particular neighborhood?

Listed below you will find a list of every subdivision (or condo) with listings in Chantilly. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is recalculated every few minutes to make sure that we're supplying accurate data that you can count on. The information compiled below is pulled directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few tips to keep in mind.

You may find a subdivision listed multiple times.

You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominiums) found below were all typed into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there will be typographical errors. Later, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it seem like a property has been listed when really the spelling on a listing was changed.

Also, there may be some disagreement as to what exactly a particular neighborhood is named. If there is just one letter of difference between two entries this will be counted separately. Thus, if you really want to get a count, you should consider all possible variations of the community's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums in Fairfax County are by some people known as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

"I saw a for sale sign posted but the subdivision isn't found below."

Is there another name for this particular neighborhood?
Of course, for the reason stated above, make sure you look for all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the property for rent?
This list does not cover rentals. Hence, it may be that the sign you saw was for a rental property. And, this tally exclusively includes active listings in Chantilly.
Is the property coming soon?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are some listings that have a sign up that are not active. For example, sometimes a for sale is up because the property is coming soon. A property that is in coming-soon status is not yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents have access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. Not to mention, the MLS database does not allow us to include those listings in our count. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a particular subdivision, you'll have to reach out to us directly.
Is the listing sold?
Not to mention, it happens that a listing is already sold when you see the for sale up. Sold or under-contract signs don't go up immediately. In addition, sometimes that the listing agent is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, it's possible to see a sign posted when a property is not active.
