Definitely, for the reason stated above, make sure you watch out for all typical variations of the spelling.
Consider the possibility that the listing is for lease.
This list
only includes currently active listings. Furthermore, this tally does not include rentals in Old Town. Hence, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental. An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are quite a few properties that have a sign posted that are not
active.
The listing might be coming soon.
For instance, sometimes a sign is posted because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not

And, sometimes that the listing agent is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract signs. Because of these reasons, you may see a sign up when a listing is not active.
