ZIPS Dry Cleaners recently celebrated the grand opening of its new store at 14200-B Centreville Square in the Centreville Square Shopping Center. Enjoying the Nov. 13 festivities were franchise owner Krishna Gondi, wife Beth Flynn, and their family. There to support them were Kathleen McMahon, executive vice president of Northern Virginia Family Services, plus members of the Fairfax County Police Department.

According to Centre View, "This new location offers the same, “in by 9, out by 5” service that ZIPS customers have come to expect. Gondi, a local pharmacist, took the entrepreneurial leap to open his first ZIPS Dry Cleaners in 2015. As a previous customer, he was impressed by the ZIPS business model and customer-centered focus. The Centreville store is his fourth in the area." As per Centre View, "During the grand opening, ZIPS accepted donations of new, adult or child-sized socks and underwear, as well as new, unwrapped toys to support Northern Virginia Family Services’ clients. NVFS empowers individuals and families to improve their quality of life and promotes community cooperation and support in responding to family needs.
