New Location Of Lidl To Open In Falls Church

Lidl, a German discount grocer with U.S. operations based in Arlington, Virginia, will open its latest location in Merrifield on Wednesday, June 30. The store will be located at 2901 Gallows Road, Falls Church. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with community leaders will be held between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on June 30. According to patch.com, "At the grand opening, the first 100 customers will get a gift card with a value ranging from $5 to $100. Shoppers can also enter to win a $500 gift card and other giveaways and score grand opening specials. Lidl will also donate 50 cents to Capital Area Food Bank for every new myLidl member who signs up and sets the new store as their home store." As per patch.com, "Lidl offers a variety of products at discount prices, including its own private label products. Most of the products are American, but Lidl also offers European specialty items ranging from cheeses to authentic specialty sauces, cured meats, and more. A rotating selection fo food and non-food specials will be available for a limited time, starting on Wednesdays. Non-food items can include fitness gear, small kitchen appliances, toys, outdoor furniture and more."
