NextStop Theatre Company presents Ordinary Days. The play will be performed from February 20 to March 15, 2020, at NextStop Theatre Company 269 Sunset Park Drive, Herndon, at 2:00 pm; 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Ordinary Days is a heartfelt and funny story about how we search for and make connections in an increasingly chaotic world. The ticket price for general admission ranges from $40 to $55.
Ordinary Days by Adam Gwon tells the story of four young New Yorkers, whose lives intersect in strange and unexpected ways as they search for love, beauty, and purpose in this big and unforgiving world. The play asks, is it possible that the smallest acts can have the most profound effects on your life? Jay Brock, director of 2017’s Assassins, returns to lead this production.
On a regular, ordinary day, uptight graduate student Deb loses her most precious possession–the notes to her graduate thesis–somewhere on the streets of New York City. To her surprise, she strikes up an unexpected friendship with Warren, the optimistic but struggling artist who finds and returns her notes. Meanwhile, Jason and Claire, a couple struggling to understand each other, learn how to share an apartment and move forward with their lives together. With hope and soaring songs, Ordinary Days shows how the smallest acts can sometimes have the most profound effects on your life.
