Are you seeking homes in a specific subdivision?

Below you will find a accounting of every subdivision (or condominium) with real estate on the market in Fairfax Station. The list below is compiled from active listings today. This list is updated often to make sure that we're providing fresh tallies which you may rely on. The tallies listed below is pulled directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few quirks to be aware of.

You might find a subdivision listed multiple times.

You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condos) listed below were all put into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there can be spelling errors. Of course sometimes, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it seem like a property has moved from one subdivision to another when actually the error was corrected.

Furthermore, there may be some dispute as to what exactly a particular neighborhood is called. If there is just one character of difference between two entries this will be tallied as different communities. Thus, when you really want to get a picture, you have to consider all possible variations of the subdivision's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums in Alexandria are at times called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

"I saw a for sale sign up but the community isn't listed below."

Is there a different name for this specific community?
Certainly, for the reason stated above, make sure you double-check all typical variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for rent?
This list does not cover rental properties. Hence, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental property. Not to mention, this list exclusively covers active listings in Fairfax Station.
Is the property not yet active?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are some listings which have a sign posted that are not active. For instance, from time to time a for sale is posted because the property is coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents can access to information about listings that are coming-soon. In addition, the MLS database does not permit us to list those properties in our tally. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a specific community, you'll have to email Nesbitt Realty directly.
Is the property under-contract?
In addition, sometimes that a listing is already sold when you spot the for sale posted. Sold or under-contract signs aren't posted instantly. Also, it happens that the listing agent is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. For these reasons, you may see a sign posted when a property is not active.
