You may spot a subdivision listed more than once.

Firstly that the names of subdivisions (or condominiums) compiled below were all put into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there can be spelling errors. Of course sometimes, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a property has sold when in reality the spelling on a listing was changed.

Also, there may be some variation as to what exactly a specific community is called. If there is even one character of difference between two entries this will be listed separately. Hence, if you really want to get a tally, you should consider all possible variations of the subdivision's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Alexandria are sometimes entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.

Of course, for the reason stated above, make sure you double-check all typical variations of the spelling.

Is the listing for lease?

This list does not cover rentals. Hence, it may be that the sign you saw posted was for a rental. In addition, this tally only covers listings on the market in Great Falls.

Is the listing in coming-soon status?

An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are some listings which have a sign posted that are not active. For example, sometimes a for sale is posted because the property is coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not yet available and not yet for sale.
