Fort Scott was a detached lunette constructed in May 1861 to guard the south flank of the defenses of Washington during the American Civil War. The part for the small kids offers a small play structure with two slides, two baby swings, a clubhouse, a teeter-totter, a white sandbox, and a roller slide which my kid loved. The big kids' area is also full of fun things including a big tube slide, a fireman's pole, a climbing net, a roller slide, a twisty spiral ladder, swings, and an upright pedal pusher.
