Below you will find a list of each and every subdivision (or condo) with listings in McLean. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is revised throughout the day (and night) to ensure that we're supplying accurate information which you may depend on. The data collected below is pulled directly from the MLS database, so there are some quirks to be aware of.
You may spot a subdivision listed more than once.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) compiled below were all entered into the Multiple Listing Service by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there may be typographical errors. Later, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has sold when in reality the spelling on a listing was changed.
In addition, there may be some variation as to what exactly a particular community is called. If there is even one letter of difference between two entries this will be tallied as different communities. Thus, when you really need to get a tally, you should consider all the variations of the subdivision's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Huntington are sometimes called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a sign posted but the subdivision isn't found below."
Is there a different way to spell this specific community?
Of course, for the reason stated above, try to you look for all possible variations of the name.
Is the property for rent?
This list does not include rental properties. So, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental. Also, this list
only covers listings on the market in McLean.
Is the listing not yet active?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are quite a few properties which have a sign posted that are not
active.
For example, sometimes a for sale is posted because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is in coming-soon status is not
yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents can access to information about listings that are in coming-soon status. Also, the Multiple Listing Service does not permit Nesbitt Realty to include those listings in our list. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a particular community, you'll have to contact us directly.
Is the property sold?
And, sometimes that a listing is already sold or
under contract when you see the sign posted. Sold signs don't go up immediately. Also, from time to time that the listing agent is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract riders. Because of these reasons, you may see a for sale sign posted when a listing is not active.
