Below you will find a list of each subdivision (or condominium) with real estate on the market in Skyline. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. The list below is updated throughout the day (and night) to ensure that Nesbitt Realty is providing timely information that you may depend on. The data compiled below is taken directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few tips to keep in mind.
You may spot a subdivision listed multiple times.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condos) collected below were all entered into the MLS database by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there will be typographical errors. Later, those typographical errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a property has been listed when really the listing was updated.
Furthermore, there may be some variation as to what exactly a specific subdivision is called. If there is even one character of difference between a couple of entries this will be tallied as different communities. Thus, when you really need to get a picture, you have to look at all possible variations of the community's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums in Alexandria are at times called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a sign up but the subdivision isn't listed below."
Is there a different name for this specific neighborhood?
Certainly, for the reason stated above, make sure you double-check all typical variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for lease?
This tally does not cover rental properties. Therefore, it may be that the sign you saw posted was for a rental. Furthermore, this list
exclusively covers active listings in Skyline.
Is the property under-contract?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are quite a few listings which have a sign up that are not
active.
For example, from time to time a for sale is posted because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is in coming-soon status is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about properties that are coming-soon. And, the Multiple Listing Service does not permit Nesbitt Realty to include those listings in our list. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a particular neighborhood, you'll have to email us directly.
Is the listing under-contract?
Also, from time to time that a listing is already sold when you see the sign posted. Sold or under-contract notices don't go up the moment a property settles. Furthermore, from time to time that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. For these reasons, you may see a sign posted when a listing is not active.
Do you need timely notices about listings from a particular community?
If you want to be contacted when a property is available in a specific neighborhood, just let us know. Furthermore, we can also give you specific information on a specific property if you reach out to us directly. Nesbitt Realty has a Realtor that can quickly find the information you need.
You can organize the communities by count or alphabetically.
The arrows at the header below are useful for sorting the communities. In contrast, when you arrange by number of active listings, just keep in mind the points above, because the count isn't completely true. Nevertheless, the list is still pretty accurate.
