Listed below you will see a list of each and every subdivision (or condo) with listings in Falls Church. The list below is compiled from active listings today. This list is revised every 15 minutes or so to ensure that we're providing accurate data that you may count on. The information listed below is pulled directly from the MLS database, so there are a couple of tips to keep in mind.
You may find a subdivision listed more than once.
Firstly that the names of subdivisions (or condominiums) listed below were all entered into the MLS database by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there can be spelling errors. Later, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has moved from one subdivision to another when in reality the error was corrected.
Also, there may be some variation as to what exactly a particular neighborhood is named. If there is just one character of difference between a couple of entries this will be listed separately. So, when you really want to get a picture, you have to look at all the variations of the community's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Huntington are sometimes known as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a sign up but the community isn't listed below."
Is there a different way to spell this particular neighborhood?
As a matter of course, for the reason stated above, make sure you look for all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for lease?
This list does not cover rentals. So, it may be that the sign you saw was for a rental. And, this tally
only includes active listings in Falls Church.
Is the property coming soon?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are quite a few properties which have a sign up that are not
active.
For example, from time to time a sign is posted because the property is
coming soon. A property that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about properties that are in coming-soon status. In addition, the MLS database does not allow us to count those listings in our tally. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a specific subdivision, you'll have to contact us directly.
Is the listing sold?
And, it happens that a listing is already sold or
under contract when you see the sign posted. Sold signs aren't posted instantly. Furthermore, from time to time that the listing agent is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. For these reasons, you might see a sign up when a listing is not active.

You can sort the neighborhoods by count or alphabetically.
The arrows at the header below are useful for arranging the neighborhoods. On the other hand, when you arrange by number of active listings, just keep in mind the points above, because the number isn't completely true. Nevertheless, the list is still pretty accurate.
