Listed below you will see a list of each and every subdivision (or condominium) with real estate on the market in Fort Hunt. The list below is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is recalculated often to ensure that we're supplying accurate tallies that you may count on. The information found below is taken directly from the MLS database, so there are some quirks to keep in mind.
You may spot a subdivision listed more than once.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominiums) found below were all entered into the Multiple Listing Service by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there can be typographical errors. Of course sometimes, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a listing has sold when actually the listing was updated.
In addition, there may be some disagreement as to what exactly a specific subdivision is called. If there is even one letter of difference between two entries this will be tallied as different communities. Thus, if you really want to get a count, you should look at all possible variations of the subdivision's name. For instance, Midtown condominiums in Alexandria are at times entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a for sale sign posted but the subdivision isn't found below."
Is there another way to spell this specific subdivision?
Of course, for the reason stated above, make sure you look for all typical variations of the name.
Is the listing for lease?
This tally does not include rental properties. Therefore, it may be that the sign you saw was for a rental property. And, this list
only covers listings still for sale in Fort Hunt.
Is the property coming soon?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are quite a few listings which have a sign posted that are not
active.
For example, sometimes a for sale is up because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about listings that are coming-soon. Not to mention, the Multiple Listing Service does not allow us to include those properties in our list. If you want to know about coming-soon homes in a particular subdivision, you'll have to contact us directly.
Is the property under-contract?
In addition, sometimes that a listing is already sold when you see the sign posted. Sold notices aren't posted immediately. Furthermore, sometimes that the Realtor is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract riders. Because of these reasons, you might see a for sale sign posted when a listing is not active.

You can sort the subdivisions by count or alphabetically.
The arrows at the header below are useful for organizing the list. However, when you organize by listing count, just keep in mind the points above, because those tallies aren't completely accurate. Of course, the data is still useful.
