Below you will see a accounting of every subdivision (or condo) with real estate on the market in Westwood Towns. The list below is compiled from listings currently available today. The list below is recalculated every 15 minutes or so to make sure that we're providing accurate information which you can depend on. The tallies found below is pulled directly from the MLS database, so there are a few quirks to keep in mind.
You might find a subdivision listed more than once.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condos) listed below were all put into the Multiple Listing Service by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there may be spelling errors. Of course sometimes, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a property has sold when really the error was corrected.
Furthermore, there may be some disagreement as to what exactly a specific neighborhood is named. If there is even one character of difference between a couple of entries this will be counted as different communities. Thus, if you really need to get a count, you should consider all the variations of the subdivision's name. For example, Midtown condominiums near the Huntington Metro are at times known as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a for sale sign posted but the community isn't found below."
Is there a different way to spell this specific neighborhood?
Of course, for the reason stated above, try to you watch out for all possible variations of the name.
Is the property for lease?
This list does not include rentals. Therefore, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental property. Also, this tally
only includes listings still for sale in Westwood Towns.
Is the listing under-contract?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are many listings that have a sign up that are not
active.
For instance, sometimes a for sale is up because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents can access to information about listings that are in coming-soon status. In addition, the MLS database does not permit us to count those properties in our tally. If you want to know about coming-soon real estate in a specific community, you'll have to email us directly.
Is the listing sold?
Also, from time to time that a listing is already sold when you see the for sale up. Sold or under-contract notices don't go up the moment a property settles. Also, from time to time that the listing agent is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, you might see a sign posted when a property is not active.

You can sort the list by number or alphabetically.
The arrows at the header below are useful for arranging the list. Still, when you organize by listing count, just keep in mind the points above, because the number isn't always true. Of course, the list is still pretty accurate.
