Below you will see a accounting of every subdivision (or condo) with listings in Rosemont. This list is compiled from active listings today. The list below is recalculated every few minutes to ensure that Nesbitt Realty is supplying timely tallies that you may rely on. The tallies compiled below is pulled directly from the Multiple Listing Service, so there are a few quirks to keep in mind.
You may spot a subdivision listed multiple times.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condos) found below were all entered into the Multiple Listing Service by listing agents. Because humans entered the data, there will be typographical errors. Of course sometimes, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it appear that a property has moved from one subdivision to another when in reality the listing was updated.
Also, there may be some variances as to what exactly a particular subdivision is named. If there is just one letter of difference between a couple of entries this will be tallied separately. So, when you really need to get a count, you have to consider all possible variations of the subdivision's name. For example, Midtown condominiums in Fairfax County are at times called Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a for sale sign posted but the community isn't listed below."
Is there a different way to spell this particular subdivision?
Definitely, for the reason stated above, make sure you watch out for all possible variations of the name.
Is the listing for lease?
This tally does not include rentals. So, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental property. Also, this tally
exclusively covers listings on the market in Rosemont.
Is the property coming soon?
An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are many properties which have a sign posted that are not
active.
Case in point, from time to time a for sale is up because the property is
coming soon. A property that is coming-soon is not
yet available and not yet on the market. Only agents can access to information about listings that are coming-soon. Also, the Multiple Listing Service does not permit Nesbitt Realty to list those properties in our list. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a specific neighborhood, you'll have to talk to Nesbitt Realty directly.
Is the listing under-contract?
In addition, from time to time that a listing is already sold when you see the for sale up. Under-contract riders aren't posted the moment a property settles. Also, sometimes that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract signs. For these reasons, you might see a for sale sign posted when a property is not available.

The arrows at the header below are useful for organizing the list. On the other hand, when you organize by number of active listings, just remember the tips above, because those tallies aren't always true. Nevertheless, the data is still useful.
