Listed below you will see a list of each subdivision (or condo) with properties for sale in The Select At Gaslight Square. This list is compiled from listings currently available today. This list is refreshed often to make sure that we're providing fresh data which you may rely on. The data listed below is taken directly from the MLS database, so there are some quirks to be aware of.
You may find a subdivision listed multiple times.
You should know that the names of subdivisions (or condominium communities) found below were all typed into the Multiple Listing Service by Realtors. Because humans entered the data, there may be spelling errors. Later, those spelling errors can be corrected and that correction makes it seem like a property has sold when actually the error was corrected.
Also, there may be some diffence of opinion as to what exactly a specific subdivision is called. If there is just one character of difference between two entries this will be counted as different communities. So, when you really want to get a picture, you should look at all possible variations of the community's name. By way of illustration, Midtown condominiums in Fairfax County are by some people entered in as Midtown, Midtowns, Midtown condomiums, Midtown Alexandria, Midtown Alexandria Station.
"I saw a for sale sign up but the subdivision isn't found below."
Is there another way to spell this particular subdivision?
As a matter of course, for the reason stated above, try to you watch out for all possible variations of the spelling.
Is the listing for rent?
This list does not cover rental properties. Therefore, it's possible that the sign you saw was for a rental. Furthermore, this tally
exclusively covers active listings in The Select At Gaslight Square.
Is the property in coming-soon status?
An active listing is a property that is available and for sale. There are many listings which have a sign up that are not
active.
For example, sometimes a sign is up because the property is
coming soon. A property that is in coming-soon status is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents can access to information about listings that are in coming-soon status. Also, the Multiple Listing Service does not permit us to count those properties in our list. If you want to know about coming-soon listings in a particular community, you'll have to email us directly.
Is the listing under-contract?
Furthermore, it happens that a listing is already sold when you spot the sign up. Sold or under-contract notices aren't posted immediately. In addition, from time to time that the listing agent is a less than prompt with putting up the under-contract riders. Because of these reasons, you might see a sign posted when a listing is not available.
