Consider the possibility that the property is for lease.
This list
exclusively includes listings currently on the sales market. Also, this tally does not cover rentals in The Meadows. Hence, it may be that the sign you saw was for a rental property. An active listing is a property that is available and on the market. There are some listings that have a sign posted that are not
active.
The listing might not yet be active.
For example, sometimes a for sale is up because the property is
coming soon. A listing that is in coming-soon status is not
yet available and not yet for sale. Only agents have access to information about listings that are coming-soon. Furthermore, the Multiple Listing Service does not permit us to list those properties in our list. Possibly, the property is already under-contract.
Sometimes that a listing is already
under contract when you see the for sale posted. Sold riders aren't posted immediately. Furthermore, it happens that the Realtor is a little tardy with putting up the under-contract riders. Because of these reasons, you might see a for sale sign posted when a listing is not active.
