The Providence District is located in the central part of Fairfax County between Vienna and Falls Church along Rt. 50 and I-95. It is one of nine magisterial districts in Fairfax County. The Dunn Loring / Merrifield metro is located in Providence District. The Providence District is home to over 280 homeowners and civic associations. The Providence District is highly regarded for its exceptional public safety services and county public school. According to 1999-2000 surveys, 92% of Providence District graduates continue on to post secondary education.
Providence District has an abundance of parks, playgrounds, hiking and biking trails. Parks such as Nottoway Park holds summer concert series and vast seasonal community events like the Vienna Farmer’s Market. The Fairfax County Park Authority hosts many of the events.
