Guide to Broadway Real Estate

Basics about Broadway

About Broadway

Situated in the historic Shenandoah Valley, the town of Broadway (pop. 3,200) is located within Rockingham County and is approximately 12 miles north of Harrisonburg. Broadway is served by several U.S. highways, as well as Interstate 81, which provides a direct access route (Rte. 259) to Broadway. Broadway is lucky to have much of its history still evident in its buildings. A wide range of older structures illustrates earlier ways of living. In addition to residential examples, these historic structures cover commercial, transportation, religious, industrial, and social themes. With steady growth and continued diversity of businesses, the Town of Broadway continues to play its historic role as a social and economic center.

In the Commowealth of Virginia, every real estate licensee (also know as real estate agent) is required to successfully complete a state-approved course on real estate, pass a background check and pass a state-approved test. A Realtor must do all this and more. Of the more than two million people who have earned real estate licenses, only a small percentage of them are Realtors. All Realtors in the Commonwealth of Virginia are members in good standing of the National Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors, and a local real estate board. To keep good standing, each and every Realtor must stick to specific high standards of ethical behavior.  Not to mention,  every Realtor is required to attend continuing education to remain in good standing. It's true that all agents and property managers of Nesbitt Realty are Realtors!
