Join Step Afrika! Juneteenth Virtual Celebration
A D.C dance company, Step Afrika!, is engaging the Juneteenth holiday as an opportunity to fortify relationships in local communities, in honor of freedom, justice, and equality. Step Afrika! commemorates Juneteenth (June 19, 1865) and the true end of slavery with a new virtual program, “Step Afrika! Juneteenth Celebration” on Friday, June 19th at 8 pm/et.
