Ruby Tucker Park is a neighborhood park located at 3500 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Alexandria. In June 2011 the park was dedicated to the “Queen of Lynhaven” Ruby Tucker. Ruby Tucker was an active advocate for her Lynhaven neighborhood until her death. She served on the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority for 12 years while caring for foster kids throughout her life. The Potomac Yard Park is a 23.4 acre neighborhood park located at 2501 Potomac Ave in Alexandria. The park was designed and constructed through a partnership between the Alexandria City Council and Pulte Homes. The park features picnic tables and pathways with ADA accessibility, outdoor stage area for the hosting of special events, Stormwater Management Ponds, Walking/Bicycle trails and passive seating areas with historical interpretations. Floral Grandeur at Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden

Bon Air Park is an expansive 24-acre park located at 850 N Lexington St, Arlington, VA 22205, USA. It features a beautiful memorial rose garden that is often a chosen location for weddings.

This memorial rose garden was started by Nellie Broyhill back in 1939. She started the Arlington Rose Foundation with the purpose of planting a memorial garden at the forthcoming Arlington hospital (now Virginia Hospital Center). The garden was meant to honor local war veterans who fought in the World War 11.
