Kansas To Perform At Capital One Hall

Kansas is ready to rock the brand new Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia, on Dec. 19. “We’re going to be one of the first bands to desecrate it,” lead singer Ronnie Platt. “We’re really looking forward to just being back on the road. Vienna Multicultural Festival Held On July 17

On July 17, the Vienna Multicultural Festival was held to celebrate the end of the Liberty Amendments Month. The Vienna Town Green and neighboring streets were filled with food and craft vendors as well as various performances. “We've been looking forward to this because it’s the big celebration for the month-long events the Town of Vienna has been hosting,” Leslie Herman, Director of Parks and Recreation, said. Music Concert Won By Chantilly High Senior

Chantilly High senior Ethan Luvisia has won first place in the Rotary District Youth Music Contest. The 18-year-old pianist represented the Rotary Club of Centreville & Chantilly (RCCC) and his award-winning piece was “Étude Op. 10, No. 12 in C minor.” Also called the “Revolutionary Étude,” it’s a solo piano work composed by Frédéric Chopin, circa 1831. Ethan was declared the RCCC’s winner on March 16 and then performed the Chopin piece virtually for its members on March 30. Continue reading
