Fall Carnival and Farm Harvest Days at Frying Pan Park is going to be held this weekend from 18 to 20 October. The event is scheduled for 5-9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Farm Harvest Days are from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on October 19-20. Admission and parking are free. Celebrate Centreville Day At Centreville Historic Park On October 19

The 27th Centreville Day will be held on October 19, 2019, from 10 am to 5 pm in Centreville’s Historic Park along Mt. Gilead and Braddock Roads. You can enjoy the uniqueness of Centreville as the crossroad of history, community, cultures, and the entrepreneurial spirit. There will be games, rides, face painting, history, food court, crafts, Pet Pageant, American Legion Parade, live entertainment on the Goodwill Main Stage, and Safety Expo at the festival. 5th Annual Fairfax County Environmental Conference Held At Fairfax County Government Center

5th Annual Fairfax County Environmental Conference was presented by the Environmental Student Leadership Initiative, formerly known as the Eco-School Leadership Initiative. The conference was held on the grounds on Fairfax County Government Center on Saturday, June 22. The conference was a free, day-long event, the purpose of which was to teach students how they, as student-instructors could get involved with environmental education initiatives. By teaching elementary school students using hands-on and engaging interactive games and activities, in the process, the young students would become interested in fighting environmental problems and become future leaders in their communities.
