2021 Vienna Halloween Parade Returns For 75th Annual Celebration
On Wednesday, Oct. 27, the 75th Annual Vienna Halloween Parade returned in its entirety, unlike last year's limited "Wave Parade," due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Town of Vienna Parks and Recreation and the Vienna Business Association coordinated, the hour-and-a-half-long parade featured 64 floats and other forms of entertainment marching down Maple Avenue, from Branch Road to Center Street. McLean, Virginia-based government contractor Booz Allen Hamilton will acquire Herndon, Virginia-based Liberty IT Solutions LLC for $725 million. Liberty IT Solutions has about 600 employees, with other operations in Exton, Pennsylvania, and Melbourne, Florida. Its work includes IT modernization projects for government agencies and in the health care industry, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, expanding Booz Allen’s growth in health care consulting.
