Bike to Work Day Celebrated Its 20th Anniversary
May is National Bike to Work Week, and this year, Bike to Work Day celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Countless cyclists pedaled the W&OD Trail into the Town of Herndon, one of over more than 100 regional pit stops. Victoria and Jillian Felder are sisters from Chantilly who’ve competed in pageants since they were little girls. They plan to compete in the USA National Miss (UNM) pageant this November for national titles. The pageant awards more than $100,000 in scholarships and gifts to each of its winners. Fairfax County’s Fight Against Coronavirus Gets New Tool
Fairfax County has introduced a new metric to its online coronavirus data dashboard that is contact tracing. The Public Health Department has over 400 contact tracers that call people who have recently tested positive for coronavirus.
