Judy Politzer Visits Sunrise Senior Living In Reston

Judy Politzer, an author and illustrator from Great Falls, discussed and signed her new book at Sunrise Senior Living in Reston on Saturday, September 7. Politzer discussed how she came to write and illustrate her newest book, “Fractured Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales and Potpourri,” as part of Sunrise’s new community forum, “Creative Conversations". Worldgate Condominium complex is located at 2204 Westcourt Lane and 12913, 12915 and 12919 Alton Square in Herndon. Worldgate Condos are spread across 17 ½ acres which are professionally landscaped. Enjoy Boat House Row and Big Al’s truck Performances At Herndon Friday Night Live

Another season of free summer concerts with all of your favorite bands and some new ones as well is currently going on at Herndon Friday Night Live. Every Friday night from May through August crowds gather at the Town Green in historic downtown Herndon (777 Lynn Street) beginning at 6:30 pm to hear music from popular local bands and acts from up and down the East Coast. Most music is rock and roll covers from classic to modern rock, but also some country and original music. This Friday on July 12, Boat House Row and Big Al's Truck would perform. Continue reading
